1. Colmar, France

Situated in the Alsace region along the romantic Lauch river, Colmar is called "the Little Venice" in the land of France. 2. Hallstatt, Austria

The natural landscape will make you think that the little town of Hallstatt comes out from a fairy-tale page. Hallstatt is also named "the pearl of Austria" due to its romantic and tranquil charm. 4. Manarola, Italy

Located in the North-West of Italy, Manarola is one of five beautiful tiny villages in Cinque Terre. Cinque Terre, which means "five lands", refers to five fishing villages sitting on the rugged cliffs: Vernazza, Monterosso al Mare, Corniglia, Riomaggiore, and Manarola. They are connected with one another by a walking path.

This place is recognized the most unspoiled area as an eye-catching jewel in the Liguriancrown by Unesco World Heritage Site. With a number of historical and cultural medieval relics, including San Lorenzo church's cornerstone dating back to 1338, it is believed that Manarola is the oldest town. Looking afar, the fairy-tale village looks like colorful matchboxes due to multi-colored houses. Furthermore, drinking the local wine named Sciacchetrà is a must for visitors to Manarola.

5. Saksun, Faroe Islands
